I met Elizabeth through a mutual friend who had posted her picture on her Instagram page. As a sharp guy, I reached out to the friend to introduce us, because I was sure I had seen my soulmate. Thankfully, Elizabeth was in a good mood that day, and she let her friend share her contact with me. I immediately reached out to her, and we hit it off right away. We chatted and talked really well, exchanging jokes and banter like we had known each other for a lifetime. You would think it was all smooth sailing from there, right?
Lol. Spoiler alert: after we said our good nights that day, she ignored my messages for well over a year until we reconnected on her birthday. As I would later find out, her 1-year hiatus was just her way of testing my resolve, hahaha. Oh well, as they say, “good things do come to those who wait”. After we reconnected, the friendship grew stronger over time, and belly butterflies gradually came into the mix. We dated for about 2 years before I summoned the courage to pop the question, and here we are.
