In a colorful celebration that embodied the couple's playful personalities, Meag Breanne Events orchestrated a vibrant wedding at Solage Calistoga in Napa Valley, California. The bride's vision for a fun and colorful wedding day was brought to life with bright oranges, soft and brighter pinks, and greens – a nod to her maiden last name, Green.
A Colorful Celebration Unfolds
The planning process was a collaborative effort between the couple, the bride's mother, and Meag Breanne Events. They wanted a beautiful tablescape and a top-notch guest experience, which led to the creation of a stunning green and white color palette for cocktail hour. This intentional design choice paid homage to the bride's family name, Green. The tablescape featured bright pinks, oranges, and greens, accompanied by fun scalloped menus in different colors to indicate each guest's meal choice.
A Disco Ball Finale
As guests transitioned from cocktail hour to the reception, they were greeted by a giant disco ball and a custom green and white dance floor. This show-stopping element set the tone for the party, and the bride and groom danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones. The floral design, created by Bloomwell & Co., played a significant role in bringing the wedding design to life, with a floral-forward approach that left a lasting impression on guests.
Personal Touches Abound
The couple prioritized food and drink, choosing Solage's signature Little Gem salad with house-made ranch dressing, followed by entrées of short rib and sake-marinated cod. They also served wines from wineries they were members of, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. The couple's dog, Sadie, even made an appearance on the wedding cake, with a figurine of her taking a bite of the dessert.
Pre-Ceremony Spritz Bar
One of the standout details of the wedding was the pre-ceremony spritz bar, branded as Sadie's Sips. Guests could pick from three different spritz drinks, enjoying a refreshing beverage on a warm Napa day before the ceremony. Bryker Design Co. created beautiful signage and details for the bar, while orange and pink tennis balls with xoxo, Sadie on them were provided for each guest to take home.
