The couple’s journey to the altar began with an introduction ceremony on April 10, 2025, setting the stage for the grand traditional wedding that followed. The main event took place on April 12, 2025, drawing attention from across the nation and beyond, as images and videos of the festivities flooded social media platforms.

The wedding was a vibrant display of Ghanaian culture, with guests adorned in colorful African prints, kente cloths, and intricate beaded jewelry.

The bride, Ewoenam Ruth, captivated attendees in an orange kente corseted gown, complemented by elegant beads and a sleek ponytail hairstyle. Emmanuel George matched her splendor in a three-piece agbada outfit, incorporating the same kente fabric, symbolizing their unity and shared heritage.

Renowned photographer Manuel Photography captured the essence of the day, with images showcasing the couple’s joy and the event’s grandeur. The reception was a lively affair, featuring music, dance, and heartfelt speeches, reflecting the couple’s love story and the support of their families and friends.

The wedding garnered widespread admiration, with social media users praising the couple’s appearance and the ceremony’s cultural richness. Emmanuel George himself expressed his affection for his bride, commenting on a post by Manuel Photography: “My Wife is Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Honourable Sam George and his wife, Vera George, were prominent figures at the wedding, with Sam George serving as a groomsman. The couple’s presence underscored the family’s close-knit bond and added to the event’s significance.

Emmanuel and Ewoenam’s wedding was more than a union of two individuals; it was a celebration of love, culture, and family. Their story serves as an inspiration, showcasing the beauty of Ghanaian traditions and the joy of finding one’s soulmate.
