Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley Celebrate 40 Years of Marriage

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary recently, have been spotted looking loved-up as they relaxed with a glass of wine. The couple, both in their 70s, beamed for the camera as they toasted each other on their daughter Chloe's social media post.

The couple's 40th anniversary is a significant milestone, given their long and successful career in television. Richard Madeley, 70, and Judy Finnigan, 78, were best known for their 13-year stint as hosts of This Morning, before leaving the show in 2001. Although they have stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, Richard continues to have a prominent position as a host on Good Morning Britain, and has also recently fronted Inside The World's Mega Prison on Channel 5.

Richard's recent show, which briefly saw him kicked out of the prison after he challenged guards over the brutal conditions, earned a mixed reaction online, with some comparing him to a 'real-life Alan Partridge.' However, despite the controversy surrounding the show, Richard remains a beloved figure in British television, and his marriage to Judy has endured for four decades.

The couple's family is also thriving, with five grandchildren and a close relationship with their daughter Chloe's ex-husband James Haskell. James recently revealed that he had no idea Chloe's father was Richard Madeley until he went on a date with her and was taken to her parents' house. He jokingly said, 'I thought Chloe's into a bit of kinky s***, I was like I don't look anything like that guy, he's tall, dark and handsome and I was like this isn't going to last.'

As the couple continues to celebrate their 40th anniversary, it's clear that their love and commitment to each other remain strong. With their long and successful careers in television behind them, Richard and Judy are now enjoying their golden years with their family and spending time at their London home.
