A lavender, blush, and pale pink palette set the tone for a destination wedding at Anantara Convento di Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast, where the couple exchanged vows against a backdrop of dramatic coastal views and historic architecture. The wedding was planned by AMV Weddings, with photography by Thomas Audiffren and cinematography by Love Story Films.

The couple's vision was clear from the start: elegant and immersive, but never overdone. They wanted the celebration to feel effortless and welcoming, with thoughtful design moments woven throughout the day. The planning team leaned into the character of the venue's architecture and landscape, layering florals, textures, and lighting in a way that complemented the space rather than competing with it.

The color story of lavender, blush, and pale pink felt fresh against the rugged Amalfi coastline. Those soft tones were used with intention throughout the celebration, bringing a sense of calm and cohesion from the ceremony to the final dance.

The menu was rooted in local Italian cuisine, simple, seasonal, and full of flavor. Guests enjoyed fresh pasta, delicate seafood dishes, and signature cocktails served al fresco during golden hour. Every detail was designed to feel elevated yet deeply connected to the destination the couple chose for their wedding.

Floral design was abundant and intentional. Lush installations and a luxurious tablescape dripping with florals and elaborate candelabras elevated every corner of the venue, from the ceremony space to the reception. The blooms felt bold yet refined, creating an immersive environment that embraced the stunning Amalfi Coast setting.

The wedding cake took a minimalist approach in design but made a strong impact through placement. It sat on the edge of the terrace with the sea behind it. Fresh florals tied it into the surrounding decor, and the moment felt effortless and intimate as golden hour faded into evening.

One of the day's biggest surprises came just after the cake cutting. The bride and groom were treated to a firework display, a gift from the bride's parents that no one saw coming. With the coastline stretched out behind them and music playing in the background, it became a moment of pure magic and a fitting close to an unforgettable celebration.

Another standout moment was the couple's sunset portrait session with a vintage Rolls Royce. The planners added this to the schedule on purpose, giving the couple a chance to step away from the festivities, take in the beauty of the day, and capture timeless imagery in the golden light of the Amalfi Coast. Those portraits became some of the most iconic images from the gallery, a lasting reflection of the couple's style and vision.

The planner offered a note on the setting, calling Anantara on the Amalfi Coast the perfect canvas. The venue offers dramatic views, historic architecture, and a natural elegance that doesn't need much embellishment. Even so, the team embraced a bold floral design and rich textures to elevate each space without taking away from the setting. Watching it all unfold, from the soft romantic ceremony to the firework surprise and everything in between, was one of the most rewarding parts of the day.

The vendor team included floral design by Flowers Living, cake by Pasticceria Gambardella, and invitations by Laura Elizabeth Patrick. Wildfire DJs handled the reception music, with ceremony music by Francescas Violin. Beauty was by Alessandro Mancino, dinner entertainment by Sebastian Sax, and Anna Fashion Illustrator provided live illustration. The rehearsal dinner took place at Parrucchiano Sorrento, with rentals from G&G Party Rentals and Nuage Designs.
